Preface by Pat Reid author of "The Colditz Story". ; B&W Illustrations; 244 pages; Collection of four tales of the Baltic by the famous exiled Polish ideologist and ex-Colditz POW. Comprises: A Rat from the Far East; The Rosery; The Sea Nourishes, the Sea Destroys; and Hannah. All the stories were originally written between 1926-8 but most were destroyed by the Germans during World War II whilst still in manuscript form.
